KBShimmer I Made A Bleu Bleu

This mani reminds me of the water and waves. What do you think? I started with two coats of KBShimmer I Made a Bleu Bleu. This polish is part of her fall collection that will be available starting September 01, 2012.

You can visit KBShimmer's store by clicking here or you can visit her on Facebook by clicking here.

I used the water marble design from Red Angel Stamping Plate RA-107 with Kleancolor White and a touch of Ulta Silver Rush mixed it. Photos show one coat of top coat.

Emily de Molly - It's Complicated & Regal Beginnings

I have two more Emily de Molly polishes to share today.

First up is It's Complicated which is a sheer white jelly with black and purple glitters. Her Etsy store says there is charcoal and charcoal holo glitter, but with the milky white base its hard to pick them out.  I also like the little bit of black shredded glitter in this.  Just like with the other Emilty de Molly jelly polishes, this could be worn over a matching base, or built up to opacity as three coats.  I chose to do three coats as I love seeing the hidden milky covered glitters beneath the surface.

For a white polish, the formula on this was excellent, it didn't streak or dry chalky, it was lovely.  This is three coats with a layer of Seche Vite top coat. As with her other polishes, all the glitters in this were great. They lay flat on the nail and there was no sign of bleeding discoloration.

Regal Beginnings is a lavender jelly with black, gold and blue glitters in different shapes and sizes.
This is three coats with Seche Vite top coat.  This was the last EdM polish I wore and I left it until last because, from looking at the bottle, it was my least favourite.  It definitely surprised me on the nail.  The lavender base was exceptionally pretty and the light sprinkling of glitter was subtle because of the jelly coating on top.  I like that this polish nearly looks like a creme, but then you can see the hidden glitters down a coat or two.  Maybe this ones is more of a crelly?

Emily de Molly polishes are available from the Emily de Molly etsy store and cost $10 USD each.

These polishes were sent to me for review.

American Apparel Sheer Pacific Beach

I love American Apparel polishes! They recently released a new collection of Sheers & they are drop dead gorgeous! This just might be my new favorite collection ever. The sheer collection contains 6 buildable jelly polishes that are super pigmented & apply very easily. Some are a bit streaky on the first coat but all of them are lovely by 2 thick coats or 3 thin coats. These are really great for all sorts of nail art & the colors are beautiful. They dry a bit matte so I definitely recommend a top coat for that squishy jelly finish. Dry time is slightly on the slow side but  These polishes can be ordered from the American Apparel website for $6. I'll be showing the whole collection over the next week or so.

American Apparel Pacific Beach is the sheerest of this collection. It's a gorgeous bright teal green!

Salt n Peppa over Mango Sorbet

I was really excited when some pretties from  Lush Lacquer arrived in the post. I had seen swatches of Salt n Peppa all over the blogasphere and Instagram and always thought it was such an interesting and cool polish.

The first Lush Lacquer I tried is the famous Salt n Peppa. A mix of black and white hex, square and bar glitter in a clear base with some iridescent glitter mixed in to add to the fun. If you love glitter, you'd love this! They weren't skimping on the glitter either, it's so packed with it that one coat is all you need. No fishing or placement required and the formula isn't too thick and goopy like some other densely packed glitters I've tried!

This is one coat of Salt n Peppa over a franken I've recently concocted from some old leftover polishes. I think I'll call it Mango Sorbet because the pastel orangy shade reminds me of just that!

Glitter Gal Duochrome Collection - Hell-Bent Blue & Distored Platinum

Hey guys! Here today for your viewing pleasure are the last two shades from the wonderful DuoChrome Collection from Glitter Gal.

To refresh your memory, this is a 6-piece collection consisting of sheer duochrome polishes that are at their best when worn over black or other dark colors. You can wear them alone too if you like the subtle look.
These polishes are 15mL, in GGal's fancy new bottles, and they even come in their own boxes.
The polishes are "5-free" - meaning they contain none of the big five chemicals found in some cosmetics.

I totally adore these last two polishes so prepare for greatness!

Glitter Gal - Hell-Bent Blue
A wonderful shades-of-blue duochrome. Shown here is two coats over black.

Blue, turquoisey-blue, purpley-blue, all kinds of blue.

I love when you can see the purple around the edges. It's gorgeous!

Yum. Blue fans rejoice.

And last but certainly not least...

Glitter Gal - Distorted Platinum
My flash photos of this one are kinda weird looking, but believe me, this polish is one of the best in the collection. It is my second favorite of all!

I'm not sure what color you would call this one primarily, it shows a strong silvery-teal and purple. You can pretty much always see both colors on the nail.

Looooooook. OMG.

Holy hell, I love that last photo.
It's like pink and purple and turquoise and silvery and... just awesome. Right?

There you have it, guys! If you missed the other 2 posts, here are some links for you:
Warped Teal & Twisted Jealousy
Buckled Bronze & Contorted Mauve

As I've said, these new polishes from GGal are 15mL and retail for $17.50 AUD/$17.95 USD and you can buy them from Glitter Gal directly or on Ninja Polish!

Hopefully soon I'll be able to show you guys more polish from Glitter Gal... I cannot wait to get my hands on the upcoming glitter called Rebecca! (DUH!)

Glitter Gal Duochrome Collection - Buckled Bronze & Contorted Mauve

Good morning all and welcome to part two of my swatches of the awesome new DuoChrome Collection from our Australian friends at Glitter Gal!

To refresh your memory, this is a 6-piece collection consisting of sheer duochrome polishes that are at their best when worn over black or other dark colors. You can wear them alone too if you like the subtle look, but my nails are way too stained for that right now... Bleh!

I couldn't pick which two polishes to show you today so I chose the first two alphabetically. Haha!
(And if you missed yesterday's post, click here to see Warped Teal and Twisted Jealousy.)

Glitter Gal - Buckled Bronze
This one I believe is the least color-changing of the bunch but the color is stunning regardless. I love the deep shimmery red, totally vampy.

There is a bronzey-orange color shift but it isn't super intense.
Have I mentioned how shiny these polishes are without topcoat? They dry really quickly too.
Each of my swatches shows two coats of polish over black.

This is a yummy color. Definitely a winner for those into vampy shades!

Glitter Gal - Contorted Mauve
Ah, purple shimmer! Intense color shift! Gorgeous polish.

I seriously love this one and that is weird for me because I don't usually like this color combo.
The duochrome is so strong and I loved watching it change.

Ooooooh. Purdy.

Do you love this one like I do?

These new polishes from GGal are 15mL and retail for $17.50 AUD/$17.95 USD and you can buy them from Glitter Gal directly or on Ninja Polish!

Phew! Can you believe there's still two more awesome polishes left to show in this collection? Stay tuned tomorrow!
(PS I hope you're all ignoring the stupid bump on my middle finger. I am ignoring it. Except I just mentioned it. Crap! Don't look at it! It isn't there!)

American Apparel Sheer Gradient

The American Apparel Sheer collection is very fun to play with. Here I used Manhattan Beach for the base & just added random strokes of Moonlight Beach. Super easy, impossible to mess up & I love the results!
Mushrooms are strange! These popped up overnight in my garden. Do any of you know what kind they might be?
Thanks for reading!
